When does growing my coaching business get easier?

You’re on the same success arc every coach walks. Here’s how to see where you are and when easier arrives.

Welcome to The Find Coaching Clients Newsletter for learning where to focus your energy, so you can find plenty of clients.

When you’re building your business, there’s a moment almost every coach has asked themselves: “When does this get easier?”

What I’ve learned: growing your coaching business does get easier. But not because you “figure it all out” overnight. It gets easier because you understand there’s an arc every coach walks. And seeing where you are on it, shows you how far you have left to go.

When you don’t see the arc, it feels like failure and it’s easy to quit. You assume you’re doing it all wrong, missing something, or just not cut out for this. But when you do see it, you realize you’re not failing at all, you’re just in a stage of the arc, keep going.

Stage 1: Trying – Everything feels heavy or hard. You’re learning, fumbling, doubting yourself, and putting in triple the energy you expected.

Stage 2: Flow – Small rhythms start to click. You’re not free from doubt, but things move smoother. You see glimpses of possibility.

Stage 3: Being – It stops being effort. And it just becomes ease. It’s who you are. You can’t imagine yourself doing anything else.

Spot Where You Are

If you knew that just around that next curve in the road is your destination, you’d keep going right?

Here’s how to see where you are on the arc right now: Ask yourself these 3 questions:

Do most of my business tasks feel like pushing a boulder uphill?  You’re in Trying.

Do I have a few systems or habits that make things smoother (but still get disrupted by doubt)?  You’re in Flow.

Does this work feel like breathing, like something I can’t not do? → You’re in Being.

Once you know your stage, you stop making it mean “failure.” Instead, you use it as fuel.

Set Your Success Frequency

If you’ve been asking “When does this get easier?” … sometimes it’s not about doing more, it’s about tuning your energy so that the work you’re already doing finally starts to connect.

That’s exactly what I’ll walk you through inside The Success Frequency mini-course.

For just $27, you’ll learn how to:

  • Spot the beliefs that are quietly blocking results

  • Shift your frequency with short, results-based meditations

  • Attract clients and opportunities naturally, without pushing harder

Because yes, building a coaching business takes effort. But this is like a tune-up. Your car runs smoother when it gets one right? So do you.

When your energy and actions line up, business really does get easier. Start The Success Frequency mini-course today for $27.

Here’s what I know: Every stage counts.

The weight of Trying builds your strength.
The rhythms of Flow create your foundation.
And the alignment of Being carries you forward.

So if you’re asking yourself, “When does it get easier?” … the answer is: sooner than you think. Because you’re already on the arc.

Try this: What feels most uncomfortable or hard right now in your business? Now, identify the emotion behind it, fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of being visible, fear of being judged… you fill in the blank.

Close your eyes and go ahead and feel that emotion. Lean into it fully. Let yourself feel it until it starts to dissipate.

Feeling the emotion is what you actually fear, but when you allow it to flow through you and onward, it loses its grip. And what’s left is clarity, strength, and movement forward

Today, I talked about an inner issue. Because I’ve found that most coaches need to shift inner resistance in order to apply strategy effectively in their business. Inner stuff always gets in the way. So I’m balancing today’s work with an external action.

In the latest video on Coach Diaries, I share how to write an email that sells. I teach the CAPWRAC framework. (We’ve done enough inner work for today.) Take a look. It will help.

Much love.
