The 3-Sentence Shortcut to Your Next Offer

Before you design your offer, nail these 3 things.

Welcome to The Find Coaching Clients Newsletter for learning where to focus your energy, so you can find plenty of clients.

You’ve probably had a coaching program or package idea you were excited about, something that felt like it could really help people. But when it came time to shape it into an actual offer? That excitement fizzled.

Instead of clarity, you’re left with questions: What exactly am I offering? How do I explain it so people “get it”? Is it enough? Too much?

Here’s what I've learned: if your offer isn’t clear, clients can’t say yes.

If it doesn't speak to their problem AND the thing they want instead... they won't be interested.

And clarity doesn’t magically happen, you have to intentionally create it.

So, I thought it would be helpful to share The Idea to Offer Process. It’s a simple, 4-part way to take what’s in your head and turn it into a client-ready offer that people actually want:

The Core – What your offer is really about.

The Promise & Positioning – How you say it so it clicks.

The Path & Pieces – What’s inside and why it works.

The Invitation – When and how to invite people in.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll walk you through each step. By the end, you’ll know how to turn any idea into an aligned, client-attracting offer.

And today, we’re going to decide what your offer is really about. Start with Part 1: The Core of Your Offer. Keep reading.

Part 1: The Core of Your Offer

Every offer needs a backbone, you know, the clear “what and who.” Without it, everything else wobbles.

Here’s how to get clear fast:

Answer these three questions in one sentence each.

  1. Who is it for? – Name your person specifically. (New coaches, working moms, burned-out execs…) If you can’t picture them, they won’t see themselves in it.

(If you’re unsure, go back to the newsletter issue about client personas in step 2 of the Market Clarity Framework on September 10th.)

  1. What problem does it solve? – Choose the main one they want solved right now.

  2. What result does it deliver? – What will they walk away with? (A skill, a plan, relief, confidence…)

That’s it. Three sentences. Core clarity DONE.

Write it down, and you’ll instantly have the foundation for your next offer.

Here’s what I know: what keeps an idea from becoming an offer isn’t your coaching skills. It’s the energy leak of overthinking.

We hesitate because we think the offer has to be huge, life-changing, or perfect. That hesitation drains more energy than taking one small step forward.

When you treat an offer like an experiment instead of a final exam, you protect your energy. You’re not betting your entire business on it.

You’re simply giving your idea a chance to breathe.

That shift alone makes the work feel lighter, and when it feels lighter, you’re get more done, more out there, and well... more clients.

Offers can feel tough to nail down. But you can do it. It just takes a little structure and shift in thinking. Along with that comes getting the offer out there and one big problem I see is broken bridges. I explain this in an episode on The Solo Coach Podcast: Are Broken Bridges Blocking Clients from Saying Yes? I think you’ll like it.

In the latest video on Coach Diaries, I share my LEVEL UP framework. It’s my go-to to actually grow my business, or when I’m feeling exhausted, frazzled, or unclear as to what I should do next. Take a look. It will help.
