Have you tried hiring a robot?

Most coaches are using AI like it’s a shortcut, when it could be the smartest, most scalable system in your business.

Welcome to The Find Coaching Clients Newsletter for learning where to focus your energy, so you can find plenty of clients.

Using AI just to write your latest post is like buying a jet engine to toast your bagel.

It’ll work… technically. But wow, are you wasting its potential.

AI isn’t here to simply write for you.

It’s here to help you think clearer, move faster, and finally show up like the leader you are.

But only if you train it right, and use it well.

When you treat it like a real system, one that’s trained to think like you and be your second brain, it stops sounding generic, expands possibilities, and starts saving your brainpower for the things only you can do.

If you want steady clients and income, but you’re using AI like a shortcut instead of a system, you’re leaving a lot on the table.

You’ll keep burning out trying to do everything manually.

You’ll waste time creating content that doesn’t actually convert.

And worst of all, you risk sounding like every other coach online.

But when you use AI the right way, to amplify your voice, save your energy, and stay consistent, you start to see real growth.

Content is how you get seen right? It builds trust, and draws in clients, but doing it all manually is incredibly draining.

Using AI the growth-driven way will help you keep showing up consistently online without needing to be “inspired” or glued to your laptop.

And using AI the growth-driven way starts with really good instructions.

Here's a prompt, called the Straight-To-The-Heart prompt you can use to create strong copy that pulls your readers in and speaks to what they're struggling with. Give it a try.
(I used this for elements of this newsletter.)

<Straight-To-The-Heart prompt>

I'm writing on [TOPIC] for [CLIENT PERSONA] who want [DESIRED OUTCOME].
What are 3 things the reader wants (wins)?

For each win, explain:
• Why they want it
• Practical benefit – What does it help them do?
• Emotional benefit – How does it make them feel?
• Actual benefit – What does this look like in real life?
(Example: A happier day, more time with kids, fewer late nights)

What are 3 things the reader wants to avoid (losses)? For each loss, explain:
• Why they want to avoid it (What it costs them)
• Practical cost – What does it block or break?
• Emotional cost – How does it make them feel?
• Actual cost – What does this look like in real life?
(Example: Staring at a screen at midnight, rewriting the same paragraph five times)

Help me write a quick introduction to my [TOPIC] using the wins and losses.
Here's how:

  • Open with a single “If/then” sentence to show why this topic matters.

  • Follow with three plain, direct sentences to explain the impact (true cost) of the problem.

  • Set up the solution with a strong reason why.

  • End with a transition that previews the format of the solution (like ‘3 steps’ or ‘5 prompts’) and tells your audience what outcome they’ll get.

Finally, ask me if I would like help finishing the piece. If yes, begin with my input. Act like a writing coach, and help me think through the rest of the post one question at a time.

    <end prompt>

Growth happens in your business because of the growth you create for yourself.

I want you to think of AI not as a shortcut, but as a means for sustainability.
Because your brain?
It’s your most valuable business asset.

The more you protect it, the more creative, grounded, and impactful you become.

And AI, used wisely, is one of the best tools for creating systems to protect that mental energy.

AI isn’t going anywhere, and learning it? You don’t have to do it alone.

Change is never easy, but it is the “only constant”.

And we’re in a time when we’re embracing possibly the biggest changes ever.

And yet, there’s always a way.

Listen to this episode on The Solo Coach Podcast: The One Simple Marketing Plan That Changes Everything. I think you’ll find it helpful.

And, in this video on Coach Diaries, I share why coaches struggle to feel successful (and how damaging this is). Take a look.

Plus you can hear the latest on my super ambitious goal to grow my email list by 4,000 subscribers in 2025 without any paid ads or complicated strategies.

Much love.
